Free Event. Celebrate three amazing “firsts” associated with the site!
America’s first lifesaving station (1848) has been preserved and restored
by the TLHS and will be open to the public for the first time this summer.
A flag raising will commemorate the first official recitation (1893)
of the Pledge of Allegiance. The Twin Lights Museum will tell the story of
Marconi’s first commercial tests of wireless telegraphy (1899).
